SOHO Terms

Connection fee plus first monthly fee is paid upon application for a SOHO plan. This is refunded within 7 days if the connection/application is unsuccessful.
All SOHO plans are prepaid each month via credit card. See Business ADSL Terms for other payment options.
Monthly invoice/receipt issued via email.
The first month of the contract commences upon the day of service activation.
Monthly payments automatically occur 10 days in advance of each subsequent month.
Excess download charges (if applicable) are charged in arrears with the next month’s service fee
Early termination of a contract is subject to conditions. See Netspace Standard Form of Agreement.

SOHO Flat Rate Facts and Features

Flat Rate means your selected fixed price each month with absolutely no surprises.
Excess downloads are completely free.
Instead of being charged for excess downloads when the download limit has been reached for the month, access is simply reduced to normal modem speeds. Sites included in the free access list (see downloads discussion below) remain at full speed, but access may be de-prioritised during periods of heavy network traffic.
If you have reached your download limit and wish to retain full speed, you have the option to switch out of flat rate.
Only one login is allowed whilst using the Flat Rate option. This shared access must be through the use of “Internet Sharing” or a local area network with appropriate ADSL modem/router.
Flat Rate is the default option when ordering Netspace SOHO ADSL products.

SOHO account may be used for dial-up access when traveling away from your ADSL connection point, or in the event of interruption to the ADSL service. Maximum user sessions of 4 hours are applicable and downloads count towards monthly limits. Connecting via the dialup account is not possible when also connected via the ADSL network.
All uploads are always free of charge for Netspace customers.
Not all downloads are counted in the monthly Prepaid Download Allowance:
- All downloads are free between Netspace customers within the same state
- Free downloads from Netspace nominated sites. Visit http://sfoa.netspace.net.au/adsl/downloads/ for a list of sites which qualify as free traffic.
